PC Crashes When It Goes to Sleep Problem Solution

A few things can cause a system to constantly wake from sleep. One of the more common problems is a pesky  malware infestation that triggers some sort of scheduled task, so run a scan on your system to be sure it’s not infected.
A component in the system can also be the culprit. To find out exactly what caused your system to wake up, open a command prompt with elevated privileges (type cmd in the Start search, right-click and Run as Administrator); at the prompt type: powercfg /lastwake and the utility will list the device or service that last woke the PC.
If it turns out it was a nonessential service, you can simply disable it. If a system component was the cause, open Device Manager, find the component, right-click it, and choose Properties from the menu. In the window that pops up, click the Power Management tab and uncheck the field labeled “Allow this device to wake the computer.”
